About Me

I'm an 25 year old women currently living in Aarhus Denmark. I graduated as a Architect Technological Construction Manager in December 2022 from UCL University College Lillebaelt in Odense. I have experience as a structural designer and as a project manager. I have additionally worked with sustainability in the form of DGNB documentation. The last year i have spent in Aarhus working as a sales assistent in the Energy business at AFRY.

I startet my career as a trainee at OBH Rådgivende Ingeniører in January 2022 working with BIM design in both the construction and the design department. I also worked with DGNB documentation during the time I was a trainee, and I got the idea for my thesis from working with DGNB: "Optimization of the DGNB-process". After I finished my studies I got a full time job as a project manager. From time to time I still help out with BIM design. wanting to go out and challenge myself personally i made the move to Aarhus where i got the job in the energy department at AFRY as a sales asistant here i have worked on tenders of different sizes as well as worked on getting templates in order.

In my work life I prioritise a good workspace, with a team where you can learn from and help each other. I thrive working with other colleague helping each other to create some good projects that live up to the customers expectations. Good communication is important both at the workplace and with the customers.

I like to be a part of ceating structures and finding new ways for the company procedures to eliminate risks and strengthen the company.

My profesional interests

Project management

My current employment is as a project manager. I mainly work on renovation projects. My recent projects are school renovations, where we have held meetings with both the pupils and the teachers to create a better space for the pupils to thrive in and get the best learning experience.

As a project manager I have worked with project economy, time management, contracts, dialog with intern and external partners.

Within the time I have worked as a project manager I have also been a part of developing the excel ark used in the proposition process. The ark is to help with coming up with a more precise price and have less risk involved in the process.

BIM

Since I started in the industry I have worked with BIM

I have worked with digital design mainly in Revit, and a bit in AutoCad. I have worked with digital design both in the design department and in the construction department.

Within BIM design I like the visualisation of the project in both 3D and 2D and I like to come up with solutions for the problems.
I have worked in Dalux with tasks such as uploaded revit files, worked with documents as well as 3D view in Dalux.

DGNB and sustainability

I have worked with DGNB as an intern. Also, DGNB was the subject for my bachelor project.

Sustainability is a big part of the building proces today, and I try to make it a part of my impact in the construction world. Sustainability can be built in the projects in a lot of different aspects, it can be the materials, the social environment of the final project as well as making the construction adaptable for the future.

Bachelor project

My bachelor project was inspired by my time as an intern working with DGNB. I noticed during this time that there were a lot of people on the construction site, who had to work with DGNB but didn't know enough about the subject. The intro meeting with the auditor and the entrepreneurs would always be about what DGNB is and not project specifics because they had to learn about it. The result of the thesis was a proposition about a website with learning videos and texts specific for what part of DGNB you had to work with. A page with informations specific for the project managers, a page for the construction managers and a page for the construction workers. By this design the website could be shared before the meeting and everyone would have the need to knows beforehand, so the meeting could be about the focus points of the specific project.

Personal interest

I often have a creative project I'm working on, usually a handcraft project. I find it relaxing to go for rides on my bike, read and listen to books. My friends and I like to do different activities together as well as having movie nights, and go for walks. i have resently started taking up windsurfing as well.
